Charles Addams Cartooning for Kids Camp

The Bridgehampton Museum is now accepting reservations for its 2017 Charles Addams “Cartooning for Kids” workshops, underwritten by the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation.

The Cartooning workshop is designed for children who love to draw. Professional drawing techniques are taught, from turning an idea into a simple sketch, then into a refined pencil drawing, and finally into a finished pen and ink cartoon. Quill pens, light boxes, and brushes will be provided. Under the expert instruction of local illustrator and artist Peter Spacek, every student will be encouraged to develop their own creative style and characters, while being inspired by the works of famous cartoonist Charles Addams.
An exhibit of student work will take place at the end of the last day of each session.

Open to kids 7 and up. Classes take place at the Bridgehampton Museum Archive Building, 2539-A Montauk Hwy, Bridgehampton. Sessions are one week- July 10-14, August 7-11.,

10 am-2pm. Sessions are $225.00 per session per student.
