The 24th Annual ELLEN’S RUN

Ellen’s Run is the signature fundraiser of The Ellen Hermanson Foundation. Now in its 24th year, this highly visible, award winning, and much anticipated 5k race/walk raises awareness about breast cancer and funds for local programs and direct services. The family-friendly, grassroots event features a DJ and warm-ups, t-shirts, post-race breakfast, mini massages, trophies and medals, face painting, runners raffle, and special recognition for breast cancer survivors.
Held on the East End of Long Island, where breast cancer diagnosis and mortality rates are among the highest in New York state, Ellen’s Run draws on the strength of the community and gives back by funding mammography screenings at The Ellen Hermanson Breast Centers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and satellite locations in Hampton Bays and East Hampton. Proceeds also benefit Ellen’s Well, a free psycho-social services program that provides support groups, nutrition, yoga, reiki and other healing opportunities for breast cancer survivors. No one is turned away from The Ellen Hermanson Breast Centers for lack of insurance or inability to pay.
The Ellen Hermanson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to ensure access to state-of-the art breast health care and to empower people affected by cancer.

Early check-in and on-site registration are available on Saturday, August 17, from 9 AM -12 Noon at Parrish Hall on the grounds of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, 265 Herrick Road Road.

Senior Citizens (65 and older)….. $25
Day-of-race (all participants)….. $45
Day-of-race registration is Sunday, August 18, 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM at Parrish Memorial Hall. $45 for all participants.
