UJA - Ramy Brook

Ramy Brook is a caring force year-round; passionately dedicated to supporting charities close to her heart. On August 2, Ramy will be the honorary chair for UJA-Federation of New York’s popular Hamptons Trunk Show returning to the Bridgehampton Historical Society for a day filled with shopping, music, and refreshments; 20 percent of the proceeds will benefit UJA-Federation of New York. “Everyone who comes truly enjoys themselves while doing something good, and that’s why people keep coming back,” says Ramy, who first became involved with the UJA-Federation when her oldest son, Kyle, was born. “As a new mom, I really appreciated their helpful seminars as a first-time parent. And as I started to meet the people with UJA-Federation, I could see how extraordinary the organization is and how much support they offered to so many people.” Ramy will also support Women and the Brain’s up-and-coming ASL ride taking place with Soul Cycle. “Being philanthropic is an integral part of who I am,” she shares.

She was honored at The 14th Annual Hamptons Happening on Saturday July 14th for her dedicated support for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s mission to end cancer through collaborative cross-institutional research that not only helps correct cancer-causing abnormal gene function but also seeks to minimize toxic treatments for patients, particularly children and seniors, battling cancer.
