Cookies and kombucha, pickles and lemonade, vegan cupcakes, and chocolate-chip studded cookies, smoked mahi-mahi dip, tomatoes, basil, lobster bisque, fresh-cut flowers, sea salt, tender lettuces, arugula, spinach, kale, artisan vinegars, corn, asparagus, brussels sprouts, strawberries, cream, cheeses, breads and pies, coffee and tea, wine and beer, nuts and hot sauces, ravioli, elixirs, botanicals. And more. It’s a chance for those who beat the traffic, and can drive all the way out, to stock up on the freshest and most-local produce, and support East End farms, bakeries, dairies, and small trades people. Expect food stalls, hot coffee, cold drinks. Bring a net bag. Wear a hat and comfortable shoes. The Montauk Farmers Market is the largest in the East End; it goes on every Thursday until the end of September.

Note, other Farmers Markets are Bridgehampton, 3pm to 6pm Thursdays on Main Street.

Sag Harbor Farmers Market, Saturdays, 9am to 1pm, in front of the Breakwater Yacht Club.
