Pamela Morgan and Michael Trokel created a festive summer experience with the theme: A Taste of Capri. The dinner was at their home in Watermill on June 25 and the Italian theme was carried throughout the evening to perfection with the help of Hank Stampfl of Revel Rouge Events who helped Pamela execute her vision.

The evening began with guests enjoying wood fired pizza from a truck In the front yard. Guests were offered frozen Bellinis and Aperol Spritz cocktails made with Altaneve Prosecco along with an antipasto bar of aged parmesan Reggiano wheel, Salami and Prosciutto with Italian music playing in the background.

The tables were decorated with lemons, lemon leaves, flowers, and candles reminiscent of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Chef Andrew Molen created an Italian Extravaganza Buffet of Herbed Branzino in Parchment, Spaghetti and Homemade Meatballs, Summer Caesar Salad, Italian Chopped Salad and homemade Focaccia Bread.

During the dinner, guests were serenaded by a fantastic performance by an accordion player and singer, Mary Spencer Krupp. After dinner, the hostess sang two Italian songs, Santa Lucia and That’s Amore to the delight of her guests. Her friend, Joey Santos, from LA also sang before the guests ended the night dancing with a DJ. Guests enjoyed real Italian gelato for dessert and of course, Limoncello shots!

Guests included: Designer Frederick Anderson, Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, Harrison Morgan and Guy Clark from Palm Beach, Cheri Kaufman and Bill Slight, Maria and Ken Fischel, Nicole Salmasi, Katlean de Monchy, Colleen and Gary Rein, Kathy and Jim Dahl, Andrea Kerzner, Ramona Singer.
