Conscience Point is known to be the original meeting place of the Shinnecock and English settlers of Southampton in June of 1640.
Now you can join us for a paddling tour led by Chenae Bullock of Moskehtu Consulting who will take us on a journey through history to cover oral Indigenous history, Indigenous plant identification, indigenous lifeways, and Indigenous songs.
You will need to bring your own canoe and or kayak, paddles, life vests, sun screen, hat, etc. Paddlers are asked to arrive by 8:15am so that vessels can be offloaded and everyone can be ready to hit the water at 8:30am.
