LongHouse Reserve (LHR), the 16-acre nature reserve and outdoor  sculpture garden in East Hampton, will be hosting the opening reception for its tenth annual PLANTERS: ON+OFF THE GROUND event, one of its most popular horticultural events, on June 19, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Join Garden Committee Chair Alex Feleppa, Horticulturist Holger Winenga, and the LHR Garden Committee as artists, landscape designers, architects, nurserymen, and key gardeners gather to let their imaginations run wild and create sensational planters that go far beyond a clay pot.

The opening reception and awards presentation will begin at 6:00 pm, led by interior designers Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper of Ingrao Inc., an internationally recognized firm focused on both residential and commercial projects. They will select the first-place winner, and visitors will cast their ballots for the People’s Choice Award. Planters will remain up for the season! There will also be a one-day only plant sale by The Broken Arrow Nursery, a premier destination nursery that acquires, develops, and grows rare, unusual, and garden-worthy plants.
