In this workshop, students will explore the extraordinary plant life, scenery, trees, waterways, light and shade of Longhouse Gardens to paint.

Students will learn and practice the principals of landscape and nature painting: composition, creating distance, skies, trees, water, mixing the colors of nature, and how to compose a beautiful landscape painting.

Five sessions will allow for lots of painting exploration: flowers, trees, reflection, weather, light. Workshops offered in June and July; students can sign up for one or both. Beginner to experienced, students bring own materials. Materials list provided on registration.
