JEAN SHAFIROFF’S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN PB
Greg and Kim Dryer hosted a birthday party for Jean Shafiroff at a private residence in Palm Beach back in January that drew 100 guests.
Jean Shafiroff, of New York and Southampton, is a philanthropist, TV host and author; she is also a friend of many in Palm Beach.
Notable attendees included her husband, Martin Shafiroff, Candace Bushnell, Lenny Lauren, brother of; Ramona Singer, Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka; Judith Giuliani, Kimberly Guilfoyle, band leader Alex Donner; Stacey Leuliette, owner and editor of “The Scout Guide” to Palm Beach, Nantucket, the Hamptons and elsewhere; Anka Palitz, the New York columnist Lieba Nesis, Meghan McCarthy, and the equestrian Alex Hamer.
Also at the party were James McCarthy, Steven Stolman, the CEO of Scalamandré, Richard Wilkie, Pamela O’Connor, Robin Baker Leacock, Robert Leacock, Kate Ericson, Rick Rose, Camilla Webster, Lee Fryd, Vicki Schneps of Schneps Media, which owns several New York community newspapers including Dan’s Papers in the Hamptons, Krystian von Speidel, who writes about notable people for the Palm Beach Post, and Ava Roosevelt (too many things to say).
Instead of gifts Jean dedicated her birthday celebration to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of West Palm Beach and asked that any gifts be donations to this worthy cause. Additionally, Ms. Shafiroff made a donation to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in honor of her guests.
