National Endowment for the Arts recipient Eve Queler will introduce two new talents. Hailed for her vocal “power and florid elegance,” soprano Teresa Castillo has appeared at Carnegie Hall, with Bel Canto at Caramoor, TheImperial Symphony Orchestra and the inaugural season of Teatro Nuova. This summer, she is making her debut at the Princeton Festival singing the role of Chiang Ch’ing (Madame Moo) in Nixon in China.
Matthew White, tenor, is a recent graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, where he has performed in La Traviata, Ariadne auf Naxos, Die Zauberflote, Gianni Schicchi and Romeo and Juliet.
