Highlights include rare and unusual ornamental trees and shrubs and shade-loving perennials forming the understory and groundcover in a niche carved in native woodland over a 35-year period.
At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., join garden writer, horticulturist, and plant collector Abby Jane Brody for a tour and discussion of 25 varieties of clethra, stewartia and hydrangeas, both Eastern U.S. natives and their Asian counterparts.
Admission is $10 per person; children 12 and under free.
