Katy’s Courage is hosting a weekend of events for a good cause from Saturday, February 29 through Sunday, March 1.
The weekend will begin with Love Bites, the annual tasting event to benefit Katy’s Courage. Love Bites will be held on February 29 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Community House. Sponsors for this year’s event include The Independent, East End Wedding and Events, The Press News Group, Decco by Party Up Productions, Cellier Wine Distributors and Designs by Mark Masone.
Tickets cost $75 per person, or two for $125 and can be purchased here. Proceeds will benefit Katy’s Courage.
The event will feature music by DJ Michael of East End Entertainment, a silent auction, Golfer’s Ultimate Dream Raffle and tastes from over 20 recognized chefs and restaurants, including:

The weekend will continue on Sunday, March 1 at the ninth annual skate-a-thon at Buckskill Winter Club beginning at 3 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Katy’s Courage. Throughout the day, participants may stop by the annual bake sale for treats. Pre-registration for the hockey game is required and participants may register at Buckskill Winter Club or by calling the rink directly at 631-324-2243. 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. – Learn to Skate Class
1:15 to 2:45 p.m. – Public Skating
3 to 3:15 p.m. – Puck Throw
3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Ice Show
4:45 to 5:45 p.m. – Skate-a-thon
6 p.m. – Raffle Drawing
6 to 7:30 p.m. – Hockey Game
