Ellen’s Run 5K celebrates 29 years of leading the fight against breast cancer on the East End with its annual race/walk on Sunday, August 18th at 9am. The run, sponsored by The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, and named the “Best Event in the Hamptons” for 2020-2023 and many previous years, is a community celebration of life for residents and visitors alike.

The race/walk starts and ends, rain or shine, at the Southampton Intermediate School, 70 Leland Lane, Southampton. The run, one of the largest of the South Fork is sanctioned by the LI branch of USA Track and Field.

Team entries are welcome and can include runners and walkers. The top female, male and breast cancer runner will be awarded a trophy., The first 500 finishers will receive a medal and there are place medals for the first finisher in each age category. A beautiful rose will be waiting for each breast cancer survivor to finish the race.

Runners are invited to sign up at :Elitefeats 2024 The 29th Annual Ellen’s Run/Walk or day of until 8:59. Children are welcome to participate in the kiddie run at 8:30am followed by Zumba warm-up and music by DJ Roggie Rogg.

Join us for a day to honor those we have loved and lost to this insidious, horrible disease and those who have survived and are thriving and bringing light to our lives.
