It will be a long summer of celebration, and youngsters now will be around for the 400th anniversary in 2048. That will be the blow-out. Meanwhile East Hampton Mayor Jerry Epstein, Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc and rafts of people from the East Hampton Historical Society, probably Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, school children, some musicians, vendors and who knows who will gather at the East Hampton Town Hall to kick off the year’s events.
