Fresno, one of East Hampton’s best kept secrets, will host a Beaujolais Wine Dinner on Monday, November 11. The first glass of wine will be poured at 6 a.m. and the evening will feature five courses and each course will be paired with a Beaujolais wine. Cost is $115 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant directly at 631-324-8700. The menu, subject to change, includes:

Passed Hors d’oeuvres

Rosette de Lyon

traditional Beaujolais Saucisson with Cornichon

Pissaladiere

thin crust, caramelized onion, nicoise olive and anchovies

Poisson Cru

raw local fish, shaved fennel, radish, capers and white asparagus vinaigrette

Seated

First Course

Salade Lyonaise

frisée, endive, arugula with lardon, poached egg, warm mustard vinaigrette and crouton

Second Course

Pan Roasted Local Striped Bass

Balsam veggies, smoked eggplant purée, charred tomato oil and zuccini

Third Course

Coq au Vin

bacon, mushrooms and pearl onion

Fourth Course

St. Marcellin

local honey
