The Southampton History Museum is pleased to announce the return of its signature summer event, the Halsey House Gala, to be held on Saturday evening, July 2, between 5:30 and 8:00 pm.
“This party is the most fun you’ll have all summer, I promise” says Executive Director Tom Edmonds. Festive wear is highly encouraged with dancing in the grass to the Coverland Band, best known for playing the widest array of artists and swinging pop hits from all eras.
The Gala takes place in the beautiful herb garden and grounds of historic Halsey House & Garden, NYS’s oldest wood-frame building. Guests can take self-guided tours through the colonial-era period rooms of Halsey House, built in 1680.
This annual Gala typically welcomes more than 400 guests for one of Southampton’s most beloved summer gatherings. A full bar, generously provided by Herbert & Rist Wine & Liquor Shop, hors d’oeuvres prepared by Art of Eating, including a locally harvested raw bar provided by Conscience Point Shellfish Hatchery, uniquely crafted silent auction, all in a delightful oval party tent with festive decorations to make a captivating evening.
