Art Inspired Scavenger Hunt Across 16-Acre Nature Reserve and Sculpture Garden

 August 20 through October 9

Wed – Sun from 12:30 – 5pm

LongHouse Reserve: 133 Hands Creek Rd, East Hampton, NY 11937

Art Foray, the art-inspired scavenger hunt across East Hampton’s LongHouse  Reserve, returns for a second year with a new roster of celebrated artists who have hidden their work within the 16-acre grounds. Opening August 20 through October 9, Art Foray II is curated by Scott Bluedorn with guidance from the LongHouse Council. It will combine art, nature, and exploration for families, individuals and the young, as well as the young at heart. Participation is included with the price of admission.

Art foragers will follow clues, including a map of the grounds and photos of the artworks,  to discover pieces of original art hidden across LongHouse Reserve. For a chance to win  the artwork, participants are invited to photograph their discoveries and post their findings  on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #longhouseartforay or email their findings to  info@longhouse.org. Winners will be selected by a random drawing on Saturday, October  9 at 4pm and will be notified by LongHouse Reserve. Winning artwork can be collected  during open hours.

Artists contributing work for Art Foray II include Scott Bluedorn, Chelsea Hrynick  Browne, Saskia Friedrich, Robin Gianis, Mamoun Friedrich-Grosvernor,  Mariah Keolani, Bastienne Schmidt, Jonathan Shlafer, and Aurelio Torres.

$20 or free for members. LongHouse Reserve is located at 133 Hands Creek  Road, East Hampton, New York.
