LongHouse Reserve’s gardening competition, PLANTERS: ON+OFF THE GROUND XI, will open to the public on June 24, 2023 at 4:30pm. Artists, horticulturists, designers, gardeners, and landscapers will let their imaginations run wild and create their best garden masterpieces that go far beyond a clay pot. Guests will cast their ballots for the People’s Choice Award and at 6pm attend a celebratory presentation for the winners, judged by the esteemed interior designer and writer, David Netto. His projects have been published in Vogue, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, House & Garden, Town & Country, and Veranda, as well as several books.

Enjoy the creative displays with cocktails, music, and friendly faces. Planters will remain on view to the public through the summer.

The 11th edition is led by Garden Committee Chair Deborah Nevins and Event Chair Elizabeth Lear.
