One of the most important primary sources for any historical event are writings done by individuals who experienced the event firsthand.

That is why we are asking you to participate in writing down your personal experiences during this pandemic. It can be once a day or once a week. We just want to collect as many personal stories as we can to create a historical document to keep in our archive for future generations who may need it.

Please email all writings, pictures, videos, etc. to cflanagan@southamptonhistory.org with the subject “COVID-19 JOURNAL”.

Every Saturday we will be updating our blog with selections from the submitted writings to share with everyone.
