The Sagaponack Sculpture Field was a wonderful location for the Evelyn Alexander 15th Annual Get Wild Benefit fundraiser. Generous and caring supporters faced the bad weather to continue the legacy of the Wildlife Rescue Center.

I was surprised that this location has not been used that often, as the space is ample and the parking is easy. So party planners take note, this is a GREAT outdoor space.

New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele was honored for his legacy of environmental stewardship along with the late James Hunter, who cofounded the rescue center with Ginnie Frati 23 years ago.

“It is our biggest fund raiser of the year,” said Chris Strub. “We don’t have final figures on it, but I think we did pretty well.”
