The seventh annual Hamptons Paddle and Party for Pink raised over $1.4million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Since its inception, the celebrated annual Hamptons event has contributed nearly $10m toward BCRF’s mission to advance the world’s most promising breast cancer research.

The two-part summer event was co-chaired by Maria & Larry Baum, Lisa Pevaroff-Cohn & Gary Cohn, Jackie & Bippy Siegal, and hosted television personality, Jill Martin.

The day began with a WPA-sanctioned morning paddle race and ended with a festive sunset soirée. For the first time ever, both events took place at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor, NY. Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink founder Maria Baum kicked off the race with 150 paddlers and guests including Jill Martin and Stacey Griffith, and incredible teams from Town & Country, Paddle Diva and more. The race concluded with a moving award ceremony to celebrate the amazing race winners and fundraisers, including the largest fundraisers, Team SOS, who raised more than $50k for breast cancer research.

Sunset party host Jill Martin opened the evening celebration to a crowd of more than 400 guests. BCRF President Myra Biblowit joined Jill onstage, “This year the Breast Cancer Research Foundation will award $63 million to 300 scientists at leading medical and academic institutions across 15 countries, making BCRF the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide.” She added, “Death rates from breast cancer have decreased by 40% since BCRF was founded 25 years ago”.
