Dueling Ladles? Imagine a dinner in which each course is prepared by a world class chef? That would be a culinary sensation that can celebrate with a lasting memory, Hayground School under the watchful eye of Toni Ross held its Benefit and I was fortunate enough to stop by. Yummy!

Did you know that like doctors, or Prime Ministers, chefs are introduced as Chef Jacques Pépin The Honoree or Chef Éric Ripert, or Chef Tom Colicchio? It is fine as long as the dishes are sumptuous which they were. The world class Chefs sat at the tables with the guests

Toni Ross who was in attendance, watching every action like a film director and it worked in one take. The Hayground School which Toni founded, is an independent alternative school dedicated to diversity with an open community mission and dedicated to new ways of teaching.

Jacques Pépin was co-star of Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home and more recently Jacques Pépin Heart and Soul. He is a living legend and I got to speak in French with him.
