Hundreds of people came to out in sweltering 100 degree heat to  check out the latest Ferraris and Maseratis at the Rand Luxury Hamptons Luxury Escape benefiting The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF), which is dedicated to finding cures for cancer, and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, the only hospital on the East End of Long Island. The Private Charity Brunch & Concours was held at the home of Ken and Maria Fishel

Many guests stopped by the COHIBA table to try out new Connecticut cigars which are lighter in taste and also enjoyed by women.

I was intrigued by the Pur2O water filtering system as delighted to see that Robert Stock from Robert Graham fame is back with a well designed group of limited edition shirts which are like jewelry to men.  The cost to join the shirt of the month club is $3,500.

But the eyes of course were on the privately owned luxury cars.

Some 19 privately owned Ferrari automobiles and 13 Maserati’s were present at the show where awards were issued for Best of Marque and a best of show awarded to;

  • 2019 Best of Marque (Ferrari): a 1974 Ferrari 365 (Owner, Glen Simon)
  • 2019 Best of Marque (Maserati): a 2016 Maserati Grand Turisimo C-Sport (Owner, Bradford Rand)
  • 2019 Best of Show: a Maclaren Senna 2019 (Owner, Glenn Schlossberg)

Congratulations to all the winners!
