Molly Sims along with Katia Pryce, Hosts #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY at Holiday House Hamptons in collaboration with HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens)
by Regina Kravitz, personal trainer, wellness and lifestyle coach
On one of the hottest days of summer, the temperatures may have soared but this did not deter over 25 “Workout Warriors” to sweat even more as they joined actress Molly Sims in Katia Pryce’s Dancebody energetic and fun workout.
Katia, a former dancer, invented this fun but rigorous workout focusing on dance moves which hit every body part in a high energy, fun workout!
Molly was up front with Katia leading the enthusiastic group in a syncopated moves with bands, stretches and lots of high velocity movements on the beautiful outdoor patio of Holiday House’s Designer showcase in Watermill. No sooner did the workout end, when everyone jumped en masse in the nearby pool for a well-deserved cool down!
Says Molly,
“I had so much fun with Iris and Katya hosting the Holiday House Hamptons Dancebody class. We worked out in 100-degree heat and had the best time! It was a wonderful experience”.
HARMLESS HARVEST supplied beverages and light refreshments were also served. Guests had private entrée to view the exquisite designer rooms of the showcase, situated at 90 Goose Neck Lane, Watermill.
Health and Wellness is a central theme of this year’s showcase, the fourth annual Hamptons edition. The muted tones and airiness of the overall design aesthetic immediately conveyed a peacefulness and restive tone, underscoring the importance of stepping back and spending time on wellness and rejuvenation in today’s uber busy world.
Holiday House is the brainchild of Iris Danker, an interior designer, passionate philanthropist, author and 22-year breast cancer survivor who has raised over $1million dollars in this outreach. A recipient of the IFDA Circle of Excellence, Ellen Hermanson Award, Susan B. Komen Survivor of the Year, Iris has orchestrated 12 events in NYC before heading East with the showcase! Hamptons Holiday House’s sole/soul mission is to raise funds and awareness for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
No slouch in the fitness area, Ms. Danker, a petite and shapely brunette, participated right along with all the workout attendees, jumping poolside, as well.
This super fun morning turned us onto Dance Body, (checkout Katia’s morning classes in Bridgehampton this summer) and gave back to an important cause which affects many of us, my own mother, Roslyn Sellarole, who passed at 58 from Breast Cancer.
Thank you, Molly, Katia and Iris!
