The Parrish Art Museum’s annual Midsummer Party in Water Mill, NY is a festive social gathering of artists, art collectors, curators, philanthropists, and business leaders from the Hamptons, New York, and beyond. This past Saturday nearly 450 guests enjoyed dining and dancing, and had the opportunity to experience the Museum’s current exhibitions including Thomas Joshua Cooper: Refuge, Renate Aller: The Space Between Memory and Expectation and Jean-Luc Mylayne: A Matter of Place. This year, the Museum honored long-time supporters Louise and Leonard Riggio, and artist Maya Lin.
The evening finished with a live auction at the event featuring experiences including a luxurious 7-day Seabourn Mediterranean Cruise for two, an exclusive visit to Sotheby’s with a specially tailored tour for ten followed by a private dinner in the Boardroom, a spa weekend reset at Shou Sugi Ban House and a private wine dinner for ten with Winemaker Roman Roth at Wölffer Estate; as well as the opportunity to make donations in support of the Museum’s educational programming.
The auction was moderated by Benjamin Doller and Lisa Dennison.
