Elizabeth Steimberg and her husband, David Weiner, hosted a “Summer Fiesta” for 90 of their closest friends at a private residence on a pond in Watermill. The idea was to dance and eat and mingle all night long. After dinner, Broadway performer Jennifer Sanchez, a lady with a silky voice, introduced our hosts, who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

There were open bars with ceviche for the first hour and a live Conga Cartel band that played Latin fusion songs. The singer Carolina grew up in Uruguay and eight more artists came from all over South America.

Guests including Real Housewives of New York alum Ramona Singer, art curator Robin Cofer, and friends from Argentina, Elizabeth’s native home.
