Trunk Show in South Hampton, August 11

On August 11, Katlean de Monchy and the fashion entrepreneur Yelena Feuerman will serve up a trunkshow of resortwear from Frederick Anderson, drinks and great conversation. Anderson’s resortline for 2027, according to VOGUE, was inspired by a little known place in Jalisco, Mexico, on the Pacific coast below Puerto Vallarta.

It’s called Careyes, and part of its charm is that most accomodations there are by renting or owning a home. The privacy and difficulty in getting there make Anderson think of undisturbed nature and a perfect chance to wear delicious, glamorous clothing, the very best of resort wear.

With this kind of view, a home rental in Careyes would feel like staying in a resort.Ka

Katlean de Monchy has decades of history observing and covering the fashion world in New York, Paris, Palm Beach and the Hamptonss. She is the owner and publisher of Easthampton.com. Yelena Feuerman is, with her husband, a supporter of the arts and culture.
