This romping four-year-old is no fan of cats (perhaps he thinks they are squirrels), but he is moving right along in obedience training. He greet people with a big ol’ tail wag, and he is especially responsive when there are treats on offer. As you can see here.
Buckee, like many hound mixes, came to us from Louisiana. He had a rough start in Los Angeles with untreated heartworm, but thanks to Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare, he is now the picture of health. Friendly, full of energy, he is curious about the world. This dog is going to make someone a wonderful companion.
