Eddie Stern returns to teach a special a one-hour Ashtanga Yoga primary series class. Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic practice that focuses on linking breath in movement within a variety of traditional yoga postures. The class will end with a short breathing practice to balance the branches of the nervous system and well as a brief talk.

All levels are welcome. Bring your own mat.

Eddie Stern is a yoga teacher, author, and lecturer from New York City. He is known for his multidisciplinary approach to furthering education and access to yoga, as well as his teaching expertise in Ashtanga Yoga. He most recently created The Breathing App, which guides the user in a paced breathing exercise that balances the nervous system, helping to improve sleep, and reduce stress and anxiety. One Simple Thing: A New Look at the Science of Yoga and How It Can Transform Your Life (Farrar, Straus and Giroux), his first solo book, was picked as Yoga Journal’s number one yoga book to read this summer, is an Amazon #1 yoga bestseller, and has gone into its second printing since its March release.
