A historical visual journey through the east end circa 1887-1910 via the photography of William Garrett Howard.
Howard was the son of a Greenport photographer, born and raised on the east end of Long Island. His Sag Harbor studio was established in 1881 and spent the rest of his life capturing the vibrancy and personality of the Hamptons until his untimely demise in 1915.
Join Randy Kolhoff, owner of Black Swan Antiques, who stumbled upon these in a centuries-old barn on Amity Street in Sag Harbor as he shares the stories they hold and his journey in digitizing and researching this local history treasure.
