Friday, June 12, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Enjoy light refreshments while exploring newly redesigned galleries and uncover the remarkable story of Stephen Sayre (1736–1818), one of the most intriguing yet often overlooked figures of the American Revolution.

The exhibition also highlights Southampton’s patriot silversmith Elias Pelletreau, the British occupation of Southampton during 1778–1779, and other compelling storiies that shaped our community’s role in
the nation’s founding.
